What is Land Management?
Land Management is a broad topic covering brush removal, large property mowing, and stump grinding and mulching. Land owners can reclaim and maintain the beauty of their property especially from invasive species and overgrowth through Green Gorilla’s land management services.
Before and After Yard View
Land clearing was the solution to this private homeowner’s overgrown fence line. We cleared the land all of the overgrowth and mulched trees up to 6” in diameter including stumps that were 8” or less in diameter down to the ground for a smooth, even end result.

Green Gorilla Lawnscapes works on our three VERY different types of properties within the last 3 years. Dan does residential lawn maintenance and landscaping for our first 2 properties totaling 8 acres, & he tackled it with no sweat! He recently added regular bush hogging & maintenance on an undeveloped property of ours & cleared about an acre of scrub brush, trees and hanging limbs and vines with his forestry mulching equipment – it is his new favorite toy! Dan might just be the most purpose-driven, highly capable person we may have ever met! He has all of our trust and confidence in any project he commits to.

Dan did a wonderful job clearing some land for us. He treated our yard with the same care that he would his own. Dan is continuing to work with us and transform our wooded land into a beautiful yard. I highly recommend Green Gorilla Lawnscapes!
Just a note to say thank you for all of your effort with the landscaping for the Town of Meggett. I appreciate the pride you take in your work and the results speak for themselves. Keep up the good work.

Dan and his company are outstanding. They came out to walk the property with me, told me all about the work they were going to do clearing a large parcel of thick underbrush. Purchasing vacant land for the first time, Dan walked me through everything. Dan finished the job better than expected and very timely considering the weather. They were so professional and informative, that we referred our Pastor to get things done at our new church. Great company, great people, I refer to them every chance I get. Thank you for your service and all you do!
Highest recommendation for Green Gorilla Lawnscapes! Dan has cleared two of my properties that were overtaken with heavy underbrush this year and the final results were awesome! One of the properties I had was for sale with very little interest – yet three days after having Dan clear it I received a full price offer. Great Company, great people. Thanks again!
Dan and his “machine”, so aptly named “Cerberus”, performed an amazing, almost mythological feat in clearing our fence line hidden by invasive species of ligustrum, lantana, honeysuckle, etc. wrapped with thorny smilax and other hard weeds. The stumps left in other areas previously and supposedly cleared by another vendor were beastly, and Dan completely removed those as well. We are now able to move forward with our true garden and another chapter in our property’s life. Kudos to Dan and his wonderful ability to explain and perform an amazing feat!

Green Gorilla Lawnscapes LLC, is a local Veteran Owned and Operated, licensed and insured small business. Green Gorilla Lawnscapes LLC, specializes in Land Management and Overgrowth Clearing for both residential and commercial clientele from all walks of life and businesses. Services include brush clearing, trail making, forestry mulching, small tree removal, storm and debris cleanup, and land reclamation.
Green Gorilla Lawnscapes LLC, launched in 2019, serves the greater Charleston, SC, area extending as far south as Lady’s Island, Beaufort County and as far north as Columbia.
First and foremost, Dan’s military background requires reliability and high quality work. Green Gorilla Lawnscapes LLC uses professional-grade, reliable, commercial equipment in order to deliver satisfaction to customers. For brush clearing and forestry mulching we use a powerful tracked machine with a Fecon Forestry Mulching head along with an industrial brush-cutting attachment. With this equipment, we can traverse many areas that wheeled machines and tractors would never be able to gain access to due to terrain, mud, ruts, etc. Our mowers are commercial-grade Ferris mowers, and we utilize Stihl and Husqvarna commercial hand operating tools.
Owner and Operator
Green Gorilla Lawnscapes LLC was established in 2019 as a veteran owned small business when Dan retired from 23 years of active-duty military service including 11 total deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq as a Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) and Aerial Gunner.
Upon retiring from the military, Dan wanted to serve his community again in a different capacity and offer his work ethic and skills he learned on his own and throughout his military career. Dan learned much working on his own land and realized he had an opportunity to help those who wish to reclaim their land, improve their properties, or are constantly battling the war on vegetation!
Dan understands the plight of the landowner and is dedicated to achieving your desired land end result at affordable rates!
